Join us for an evening under the stars
Bring the kids or that special someone to join in a night walk on our hiking trail within Beverly Nature Preserve at 7:30 pm on September 28th. Enjoy the evening by bringing a snack and beverage of your choice. Learn a little bit about comets, including this year’s visible comet, Comet C/2023 A3, nick-named Tsuchinshan-ATLAS. How did it get that nickname, show up to find out! Viewing aids will not be required as the comet will be visible, weather permitting. However, binoculars could help. After the 1/3 mile hike, the group will return to The Lodge where you can spend some time enjoying the sights and sounds of the evening at our new park facility within our city’s own 22-acre nature preserve. No registration is needed.
