Seven Hills Administrative Fee is equal to $5.00 per season per contract, payable to City of Seven Hills
Contractor Registration must also be completed before the snow plow contracts will be forwarded. Fee waived.
This program provides for up to two (2) pushes within a 24 hr period (if necessary). Additional plows when requested by participant (either seasonal or per push) will require an additional fee of determined per plow rates.
This program does not provide a guarantee of completion time on any route although drivers shall have their route cleared within 8 hours of initial snow accumulation.
Under this program accumulation of 2 inches or more, exempting drifts will require a plow.
Each participant shall obtain and mark their driveway with approved reflector stakes.
Each participant shall have address clearly marked and visible from the street.
Any property Damage is the sole responsibility of the individual driver/contractor. Failure to respond to claims will disqualify contracts from further consideration in this program.
Participants may elect to contract for additional services with their individual assigned contractors such as sidewalks and ice melting. Any additional service fees are not negotiated are not part of the Senior Snow Plow Program.
Fuel surcharges shall not be assessed for the Senior Snow Plow Program.
Drivers shall arrange for back-up equipment in the event of a breakdown.
Snow shall be contained on the property of the participant and shall not obstruct fire hydrants or sidewalks.
The City shall, as much as practical evenly distribute the resident participants into driver routes. Each driver shall be responsible to furnish their customers with contact and payment information. Participants shall contact assigned driver/contractor with any questions, comments or special requests.
Contractors are required to distribute the form contract supplied by the City of Seven Hills.
Additional program participants will be forwarded to their section's specific contractor. It is up to the contractor to accept or decline the additional contract. If contractor cannot accept, the participant is to be returned to coordinator for alternate placement.
Contracts are required to check messages and return calls placed from The City of Seven Hills, program coordinator within 24 hours.
Chosen contractors are NOT to subcontract their routes to other companies or contractors.
Contact information is required for each contractor to the coordinator as well as the participant.
Copies of contract, terms and conditions and routes will be supplied to contractors by program coordinator. It is the responsibility of the contractor to distribute these copies to each participant on their route.
Program coordinator does NOT determine collection policy of contractor. Each contractor may continue to use whatever billing procedure that they prefer.
